In this book the author proposes to widen our appreciation of the contemporary crisis to acknowledge the latest transformations of the collective consciousness. It is an invitation to understand the present moment from a threefold perspective: epistemological (as a paradigms shift), spiritual (as an opportunity to reconnect with the sacred dimensions) and evolutionary (as the challenge of a qualitative jump of the collective consciousness). She unveils the socio-historical building of the paradigm that prevails in the West, through Modernity up to the present, showing how classical science falls into crisis and how, as from the twentieth century, the “new paradigms”, both scientific and cultural, emerge, and are giving way to a new vision of the world. The book presents a synthesis to understand the paradigms shift and go deeper into holistic thought. It is an indispensable guide to lead us creatively in the present moment of intense change and uncertainty, and to make us feel participants in the new weaving of meaning.
